So, those of you in the Edmonton or Calgary area, take note! A large scrapbooking marketplace in combination with the Creative Stitches and Crafting Alive show, scrapbooking classes, make and takes, and fun! More details on the Canadian Scrapbooker website, check it out!
CALGARY

Round-Up Centre
EDMONTON
October 2 & 3, 2009
Mayfield Inn & Suites
There were only 50 cropping spots this year because of some serious space limitations, but don't despair if you didn't get those! Everybody can come and shop at the marketplace (make sure to bring the 2 for 1 coupon on the Canadian Scrapbooker website :-)) . And you can register for some great scrapbooking and card-making classes. During the Edmonton weekend, I will be helping teach a couple of Cathie Allan's classes with Jackie Ludlage and Leica Forrest. Cathie does the most amazing projects with a variety of different stamping techniques. They will be very fun classes!!!
For some great prizes, read the details about the layout contest on the website. You can enter layouts for two dollars each on the Friday and the Saturday (all the money goes to support the local children's hospital) and each day, one lucky entrant will receive $250 cash, and another lucky winner will receive a Big Shot diecutting machine and doctor's bag from Stampin Up, and have their layout published in the Canadian Scrapbooker. Hope to see you there!
