Turquoise

One of the colours featured in Canadian Scrapbooker in the summer was turquoise.  It's a fabulous colour and always makes me think of swimming pools and shallow tropical waters.  But it also works well for ice and glaciers!

Patterned papers, ink, stamps and ribbon are all Stampin Up, ribbon slide is Magenta (which I covered with a few layers of white embossing powder) and American Crafts provided the fun 'Cool' button.  I also used some mica flakes from Melissa Frances, they were perfect for adding a little sparkle reminiscent of snow.  If you want to see the layout bigger, just click on it.   Cheesecloth from my kitchen.  ;-)
